The Best Budget 4K 144Hz Monitor for PS5 Pro? My Hands-on Review of the Arzopa M3RC
A 32-inch, 4K gaming monitor with HDMI 2.1, USB-C and a 144Hz refresh rate for less than $300

When I was looking for a new 4K monitor, the only things I cared about (and knew) were that it needed to be 32 inches, have a 144Hz+ refresh rate, and be fully compatible with my PS5 Pro. I was surprised and doubtful when I stumbled across this monitor on Amazon—one that basically had zero reviews to read. So here I am, writing one for you.
Overview
The ARZOPA M3RC 4K is a 32-inch mid-range gaming monitor with a 4K UHD (3840x2160) IPS screen. The ARZOPA M3RC has 144Hz refresh rate, AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-Sync.
for ports: 1x DisplayPort 1.4, 2x HDMI 2.1 ports, 1x audio out, and 2x USB-A 2.0 ports, pretty much covers all I need.

Design & Build Quality
It’s nothing special, but that’s a good thing. It’s not overly “gamer,” the stand is solid, and it doesn’t take up much space on my desk.
IT IS NOT VESA MOUNT COMPATABLE. You need to buy a Kado Mount Adapter.
The back has a a light ring that cannot be controlled by software as far as I know but it’s not too distracting.
Display Performance
Everything ran well until I encountered a concerning issue.
When I turned off Night Shift on Windows 11 while in 144Hz mode, my whole screen started glitching. I tested the same action in 120Hz mode, and it didn’t happen, so maybe something is off with its overdrive.
I didn't encounter this issue whilst I was gaming on the PS5 on 120Hz mode.
Real-World Usage
I mainly use this monitor for PC gaming, work, and my PlayStation 5 Pro, and both work flawlessly. I was able to enable every display feature on the PS5 and use my PC without any issues. HDR content looks pretty nice (though this is my first HDR-capable monitor besides my MacBook Pro). I didn’t notice anything bad about it.
Verdict
It’s the best budget 4k 144hz monitor in 2025 for anyone who is looking for their first 4k monitor and for the price that I got it at it’s 100% worth it. It’s cheaper than anything I could find. The feature set is good and I don’t really have any complaints other that weird 144hz glitch.
